W. E. B. Dubois
WIlliam Edward Burghardt was born in Barrington, Massachusetts on February 23rd, 1868. Dubois played a great role in African American history. He was the first African American to earn a PH.D from Harvard University. He also earned his bachelors degree at Fisk. Dubois worked as a professer at Atlanta University and Wilberforce University. He published a variety of books such as "The Negro" "Philadelphia Negro" and "Dusk of Dawn" William Dubois was pronounced dead on August 27, 1963 in Accra Ghana.
